This course explains the concepts of compensated power, chromatic aberration, anti-reflection, and industry standards- with a focus on clearing up common misconceptions. At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to: 1. Understand the reason for compensated powers and how to apply standards to compensated lenses. 2. Calculate for chromatic aberration and accurately predict impact on eyewear performance. 3. Describe the concept behind anti-reflective surfaces, and explain how an AR can intensify UV reflections.
