Vision Expo East Expands Education Programming; Early-Bird Registration Deadline Nears

New educational sessions added, curated to meet needs of all eyecare professionals.

Alexandria, VA – February 8, 2018 –With one week left before the February 15 early-bird registration deadline, Vision Expo East has announced the addition of new educational programming to its expansive scope of education, products, trends and solutions that keep the industry updated on best practices in patient care, practice management and more.

Vision Expo East will debut a slate of new educational tracks including Attract and Retain Customers, Ocular Aesthetics, Supporting the Practice Experience, Clinical Concepts for Opticians and Technicians and Specialty Lens, and new lecture series including ODs on Facebook After Dark.

“Vision Expo’s 300+ hours of unparalleled education programming is carefully designed by a conference advisory board representing the breadth of the field to be inclusive of every role and experience level, and we’re constantly evaluating our programs and surveying our attendees to be sure we’re meeting the needs of eyecare providers,” said Mitch Barkley, The Vision Council Vice President of Trade Shows and Meetings. “From top-notch clinical training and practice management education taught by the experts to hands-on business and allied health tracks for patient-facing staff, Vision Expo provides the high value education needed to improve patient care and profitability while maximizing attendee time away from their practices. This event truly unique as the place where the entire team can get educated and network.”

All exam review courses will be taught by current National Federation of Opticianry Schools (NFOS) faculty. The NOCE and the CLRE, as well as the ABO & NCLE Advanced Exams, Online Spectacle Practical Exam, and Online Contact Lens Practical Exam, will be administered during Vision Expo East on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
