Join leading creative visionaries in the eyewear industry for the panel Eye on Design: An Exclusive Talk with Influential Eyewear Designers at Vision Expo. Each panelist touts impressive experience in the eyewear design realm. Laura Howard, eyewear designer at Kenmark Eyewear, oversees design of the Zac Posen women’s optical and sun collections plus his runway collection, as well as the Vera Wang runway collection and Lily Pulitzer. Vladimiro Baldin, chief product and design officer, oversees product design and creation for Safilo Group on a global scale. And Gai Gherardi, co-founder and co-designer of l.a.Eyeworks is the brains behind the renowned California brand that celebrates diversity and uniqueness.

OPTImum Retail Award

This new awards program celebrates independent boutique retailers by showcasing their products, storefronts, visions and most importantly – their stories.  The finalists are: Atelier Mira (Brooklyn, NY), Eye Q Stylist Opticians (Holetown, Barbados), Spex By Ryan (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) and Todd Rogers Eyewear (Andover, MA).
